About the Company

Founded in 1996, PETCO SAL is Lebanon’s leading manufacturer of PET preforms and packaging solutions for the food and beverage industry. Operating 24/7, the company produces more than 13,500 tons of PET preforms per year, serving major clients such as Nestlé and Pepsi. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, PETCO continuously invests in clean energy, waste reduction, and circular economy practices to reduce its environmental impact and strengthen Lebanon’s industrial ecosystem.

Green Commitment

  • Implementation of renewable energy systems – 1.1 MW of solar power already installed, with phase two adding 500 kW (total 1.6 MW).
  • Installation of a heat recovery system (240 kW) to capture waste heat from generators, reducing CO₂ emissions by 292 kg/h and fuel use by 25%.
  • Integration of energy-efficient Husky injection molding lines and smart dryers with PLC control.
  • Adoption of circular production practices, including internal plastic reuse and continuous waste segregation.
  • Partnerships with Fondation Diane and Berytech through the GREENSTEP Program to enhance sustainability performance.
